Privacy Notice

Effective Date: 22 September 2026
Last Updated: 22 September 2026

This notice describes how House of Hyperbaric currently handles information collected through this website. A fuller privacy policy is being prepared and will replace this notice.

Who we are

House of Hyperbaric (“House of Hyperbaric,” “HOH,” “we,” “us” or “our”) is owned and operated by SerenaGroup, Inc.

This notice applies only to information collected through houseofhyperbaric.com. Separate agreements, research protocols, informed consent documents and other terms may apply to information collected in connection with a clinical study, registry or other activity conducted outside this website.

This website is not a patient portal

This website is an educational and professional resource. It is not a patient portal, an electronic medical record system, or a way to send patient information to SerenaGroup or to a healthcare provider.

Do not submit patient-identifiable information or protected health information through this website. That includes patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, photographs, diagnoses and treatment records.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, do not use this website. Contact a healthcare professional or emergency service.

Information you give us

Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:

The registry interest form asks about facilities and programs, not about individual patients. Submitting it does not enroll any facility or patient in a registry or a research study.

Information collected automatically

When you use the website, we and our service providers may collect your IP address, cookie and device identifiers, browser and device type, operating system, language settings, pages viewed, links used, search terms entered on the site, the page that referred you, the dates and times of your visit, an approximate location inferred from your IP address, and security and diagnostic information.

Because this website covers hyperbaric medicine, wound care and related subjects, the pages you view or the searches you run here may reveal or allow an inference about your health interests.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure and understand the website. These include technologies that are necessary for security, form submission, account access, the shopping cart and checkout, as well as Google Analytics, embedded YouTube content, Google reCAPTCHA, Google-hosted fonts and other resources, and the mapping service used by the center directory.

We do not currently operate a cookie preference tool on this website. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the website working.

Because there is no uniform standard for legacy “Do Not Track” signals, this website does not currently respond to them. Where applicable law requires us to honor a browser based opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, we will process it as the law requires.

Payments

Payments made on this website are processed through WooPayments, operated by Automattic, with Stripe supporting payment processing. SerenaGroup does not receive or store your full payment card number or card security code. We may receive and keep limited transaction information, including the items purchased, the amount, the date, billing name and address, email address, telephone number, attendee details, transaction identifiers, payment status, card brand and the last four digits of the card.

How we use information

We use information to operate the website, to answer questions and requests, to communicate with facilities interested in the registry, to process course registrations, purchases and directory listings, to administer accounts, to keep financial and business records, to understand how the website is used, to prevent fraud and abuse, to enforce our agreements and protect our legal rights, and to comply with legal requirements.

We do not use information collected through this website to make medical diagnoses or treatment decisions.

Who we share information with

We share information as reasonably necessary with service providers that help us run the website and provide the services you ask for. These currently include our hosting and content delivery providers, our website and ecommerce platform, our payment providers, our email and communications provider, analytics and spam prevention services, embedded video and mapping services, our website development and administration provider, and our professional advisers.

We may also disclose information to government authorities or others where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights or safety, and to a successor or purchaser in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, sale, reorganization or similar transaction.

Third-party services may receive technical and usage information as described above.

Public directory information

Information submitted and approved for publication in the hyperbaric center directory is intended to be public. Once published it may be viewed by visitors, indexed by search engines, copied or cached by others, and may remain accessible outside our control after we remove it. Do not submit information for publication that you do not want made public.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected for, and for legitimate business, legal, accounting, security and dispute resolution purposes. We are adopting a formal retention and deletion schedule, and this notice will be updated to describe it.

Security

We use administrative, technical and physical measures designed to protect personal information, and the website uses HTTPS encryption for information sent between your browser and the site. No website or electronic storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what information we hold about you, to access it, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, to withdraw consent, and to appeal a decision about a request.

To make a privacy request, email info@serenagroups.com with the subject line House of Hyperbaric Privacy Request. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

Other websites

This website links to and embeds content from third parties. When you leave this website or interact with a third-party service, that party’s own privacy policy and terms apply. We do not control the privacy practices of independent third parties.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through this website, contact us at info@serenagroups.com.

Visitors outside the United States

House of Hyperbaric and SerenaGroup are based in the United States, and information collected through this website may be processed and stored in the United States. If you visit from outside the United States, the privacy laws where you live may differ from United States law.

We may update this notice. We will change the “Last Updated” date above when we do.
